Discover A New Career
WorkBC’s Career Trek videos bring career exploration to life by connecting students with British Columbians working in a wide range of careers. The wealth of information featured in this resource helps students identify personal skills and suitable occupations, supporting them to make decisions about their future careers.
The videos also introduce students to B.C.’s in-demand occupations. Students can search the videos in a number of ways, including by job title, key skills, salary range, field of work and education level.
For over 30 years, we’ve been fostering entrepreneurship in rural BC. We offer small business loans, business counseling and specialized services to help you start or grow a business, and to help communities become more resilient and dynamic.
Employ is a 12 week Youth Employability Skills Training Program. The first 4 weeks include paid training which consists of a discussion-based workshop during which you will earn a variety of certificates and learn valuable skills for the workplace. During the following 8 weeks, participants are supported in finding and maintaining employment. Our goal is to find suitable work that continues beyond the 12 Week Employ Program. |
