September 10 Weekly Update

Posted on September 10, 2021

We’ve reached the end of our first week of school and what a great week it’s been.  The kids have really enjoyed the freedom of roaming around the playground and playing with any group of students they choose.  Now that they are in their classes, they appreciate being able to still seek out their other friends on the playground while making new friends in class.  Thank-you for supporting the class placement decision made by our teaching staff.  We received over 30 new registrations (not including new kindergarten students) this fall so we have been busy welcoming many new faces to our school.  It’s nice to see how kind and helpful our returning students have been to their new classmates.

SAFETY FIRST:  Please use the crosswalks in the parking lot.  It’s great role modelling for our students and keeps everyone safe.  Thank-you.

The first PAC meeting of the year is this coming Tuesday at 6:30. It will be a ZOOM meeting and the invite will be sent home soon.

School Supplies are here and have been distributed.  We will send a letter out with instructions on how to pay for school supplies and fees early next week.

Our new kindies have started their gradual transition to school and they have already had their bus safety lesson.  Bus safety lessons for the rest of the school will be on October 8.
