Tuition Waiver Program (TWP) & related supports

TWP

To help cover your tuition, you can apply for the Provincial Tuition Waiver Program, by submitting an application to the financial aid office at the school you’ll be attending. This program dismisses tuition fees for BC students who are former youth in care.

What fees are covered?

  • All of the tuition and mandatory fees charged by your institution will be covered by this program if you are eligible

Am I eligible?

  • If you spent two accumulative years “in care”, and are 19 years of age, or you are no longer in care, or are 17-18 years of age, and you are attending a public British Columbia college, university, or the BC Native Education College, you may be eligible for a tuition waiver.
