1st Year University Admission for current HS students applying for September
UBC: Admission deadline for all programs is January 15th, 2022.
SFU: High school applicants can apply from October 1, 2021 – January 31, 2022. All high school courses to be used in the admission evaluation process (whether completed online or in-person) must be completed by June 30, 2022.
UVIC: Application deadline for all programs [except Nursing] is now January 31, 2021
UNBC: Early Entrance Awards Application deadline is January 15, 2022. Direct-entry program application deadlines range from February 1, 2022 to March 31, 2022.
CAPILANO: Refer to www.capilanou.ca/programs for information on program deadlines
QUEST: Recommended application deadline is February 15, 2021. Quest will continue to process applications on a rolling basis after this date until the class is full.
Emily Carr University of Art + Design: Admission deadline is January 15 to all programs. Given the circumstances of COVID-19, we will do everything we can to ensure applicants are evaluated fairly and flexibly. In regard to Quarter System, please ensure applicants send their grade 11 transcripts which we will use to evaluate academic eligibility.
UVIC/CAMOSUN: Students applying to UVIC Nursing must apply through one of our partner colleges. The deadline for students applying to the Camosun College/UVic BSN program for September 2022 is December 15.
UNBC/CNC/CMTN: Students applying to UNBC’s Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program (NCBNP) apply through our partner colleges (CNC in Prince George and Quesnel, CMTN in Terrace). The application deadline for the NCBNP is March 31, 2022. All supporting documents are due by April 15.
THE NORTHERN BACCALAUREATE NURSING PROGRAM (NBNP). Students must have completed 60 credits of specific and general postsecondary coursework before applying directly to UNBC’s Peace River-Liard Campus through EPBC. The application deadline for the NBNP is January 15. Required documents can be submitted after this deadline, but an application will not be reviewed until all required documents are received.
COLLEGE OF NEW CALEDONIA/UNBC: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (years 1 and 2) application deadline is March 31, 2022 for the first round of competitive entry and the document deadline is April 30, 2022. Programs with available space often accept late applications. Practical Nurse program is now first qualified, first accepted.
OKANAGAN COLLEGE: deadline is January 15th, 2022 for September 2022 intake.
THOMPSON RIVERS UNIVERSITY: Application deadline for BSN – January 31, 2021
UNIVERSITY OF THE FRASER VALLEY: Application deadline for BSN – January 31, 2021
COLLEGE OF THE ROCKIES: Deadline to apply to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is February 15th and all the academic requirements, including a CASPer Assessment, must be submitted by February 28th.
COAST MOUNTAIN COLLEGE: Applications must be received by March 31 and all supporting documents by April 15. [Due to the quarter system change we anticipate some changes to this.

KWANTLEN: Health Foundations will no longer be offered. Students can now apply to an open intake KPU program to complete their admissions requirements for nursing or psychiatric nursing, and then apply to the BSN or BPN program. Admission selection will be based on the highest admission GPA of the required courses in combination with the CASPer score.
TRINITY WESTERN: BSN application deadline with CASPer Assessment – Feb 28/2022
SELKIRK COLLEGE: Application deadline December 17, 2021, and all supporting documents must be received by January 14, 2022.
LANGARA: Current HS students are not eligible for BSN admission; application deadline for BSN for those eligible [requires 5 specific 1st Year courses] is January 31.
UBC-OKANAGAN: BSN application deadline is Jan 15th.
UBC-VANCOUVER: BSN is not a direct entry program – Deadline is Jan 15th.
UFV: The deadlines for Nursing – January 31st for Fall 2022 & August 1st for Winter 2023

CAPILANO UNIVERSITY: Online courses are treated like any other course. For early registration, interim grades needed in late May, final grades for final admission review needed early August.
EMILY CARR UNIVERSITY OF ART + DESIGN: Interim marks – Jan 15th. Final marks – Aug 15th
KWANTLEN POLYTECHNIC UNIVERSITY: Gets final ministry transcripts by the end of July; then allows approx. 2 weeks in which to submit supplemental transcripts, so this would be mid- August.
SFU: All high school courses to be used in the admission evaluation process (whether completed online or in-person) must be completed by June 30, 2022.
Thompson Rivers University: For online courses, will accept a letter from the institution stating that the course is currently in progress (preferably with an interim grade if possible). For non- competitive programs (BA, BSc, BBA, BCS, BFA) only require transcript once course is complete.
UBC: Deadlines for distributed learning courses
UNIVERSITY OF THE FRASER VALLEY: We need to know about any online courses ASAP, but we need to know the final grades before the first day of class.
UVIC: Students applying for September 2021 must complete online courses by May 31, 2021.
COLLEGE OF THE ROCKIES: Final Gr. 12 marks [in-class or online] – final official transcripts must be submitted by the end of July for all programs other than nursing.
LANGARA COLLEGE: For high school grades, we will be doing the TRAX download in mid-May.
NORTHERN LIGHTS COLLEGE: Typically, we ask Grade 12 students to submit their final grades to us two weeks before their program starts. There are some exceptions for dual credit.
OKANAGAN COLLEGE: For all programs [except Nursing] that start in September, all secondary school courses must be completed by June 30 and grades received by late July/early August.
UNBC: Grade 11 courses used as admission requirements must be complete before the program’s application deadline (Engineering, Health Sciences, Nursing). Online Grade 12 courses must be self-declared on the application and then completed, with official transcripts submitted to UNBC before August 15.
TRINITY WESTERN: Final course marks must normally be received by August 1, 2022. Courses required for admission that are not completed by this date must be approved by TWU and final marks must be submitted by the first day of classes.
