Mindfulness Program designed for teens who identify as indigenous

OKIB is planning to facilitate a mindfulness program specifically suited for teens who identify as indigenous.

This program is 7 weeks in length once per week and is evidence-based. The therapeutic approaches used in this program are specifically Mindfulness and ACT. The curriculum and training are provided by the YMCA and funded by the Ministry of Canada.

There is an information session next Tuesday, November 2nd  and 9th at 5 pm for families and teens who are interested and would like to know more. We will be in person at the Band Head of the Lake Hall.
