Differentiated Math Instruction
Through Foundational Skills Assessments (FSA), Island Net Assessments, First Steps in Math Screeners, and Ministry Performance Standards we have recognized the necessity to differentiate math instruction. In order to meet the various student learning needs and abilities teachers must be implementing a scaffolded and differentiated approach to their math programs. Some primary teachers are implementing guided math groups in their instruction.
