Indigenous Support Workers:

Kim Barker

Greetings from the Indigenous Education Department,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to those I have not already met. My name is Kim Barker, I am the Indigenous Support Worker at Charles Bloom Secondary School.

I offer Indigenous students academic, emotional, and cultural support throughout the year. We will also be participating in a number of district-wide events offered by the Indigenous Education Department in School District #22.

My Welcome Room is located upstairs in room# 206. It has four computers and a printer for educational use. There are games, puzzles and snacks if needed. The Welcome Room is open five days a week, at breaks and at lunch to provide students a place to go to finish homework, or just a place to be.

Please feel free to contact me: Kim Barker
