The school district is planning to upgrade the irrigation system as well as top-dress/re-seed the playfield at BX Elementary this summer.
The area will be fenced off and closed to the public starting June 30th and will be re-opened the first week of September. Our consultants feel the playfield will need the full 2 months (July & August) to bounce back.
The public will have access to the one playground up front but will not have access to the picnic tables or grass area.
The City of Vernon will cancel any planned rentals. Thank you for your understanding.
