Adult Graduation

BC Adult Graduation

If you are 18 years or older you can graduate by completing FIVE COURSES.  You can graduate within a year if you have the time to spend on your studies. Many adults have experiences and prior learning that may count toward their graduation credits. Our academic advisor can help to determine your specific graduation program and help to ensure that you have the pre-requisite courses to pursue your future goals.

You Need:

  • A Language Arts 12:  English Studies 12 or English First Peoples 12
  • A Mathematics 11 or 12: Apprenticeship and Workplace Math 11/12, Foundations of Math 11/12, or Pre-Calculus Math 11/12
  • Three (3) Grade 12 Electives (Ministry Authorized courses) OR
  • Social Studies 11 and two (2) Grade 12 Electives (Ministry Authorized courses)

Can I receive credit for courses I have done before?  You must begin three of your courses after your 18th birthday.  Two additional Ministry Authorized courses that you have taken before can count toward graduation.
